OUR MATTRESSES
Two dimensions are very important when buying the right size of mattress: the length and breath. The height of the mattress is based on your preference. If you have an existing mattress, please use a measuring tape to get the dimensions in inches. Alternatively, you can measure the inner frame of your bed base.
Sleep Foundation recommends changing your mattress every 6 to 8 years. However, a mattress can last longer or need replacement sooner, depending on the mattress type.
Choosing the right mattress determines a great deal how well you sleep. Sleep posture is very important, as the Nigeria Society of Physiotherapy says the spine must maintain its natural S curvature when positioned on a mattress. Sleeping on the wrong mattress can alter this curve, causing aches and pains and may lead to chronic issues with prolonged use.
Kindly visit your doctor for a proper and accurate diagnosis.
Fliping and rotating your mattress every 3 to 6 months is recommended to prevent sagging and extend its lifespan.
The prices of our mattresses may vary from retailer to retailer.

Mattresses that are firmer to touch are usually of higher density. This means their load-bearing capacity is also higher. For instance, Comfy, a low-density mattress, is soft to the touch and has a load-bearing capacity of 50kg. This means the mattress can support weights of 50kg and below only. In contrast, our Wellbeing Regina semi-orthopaedic mattress has a load-bearing capacity of 120kg. This rule of density equals firmness, or softness doesn’t always apply. For instance, our Royal Luxury Pillow Top mattress comprises different layers, with the topmost being memory foam, which gives a plush feel, gently contouring the body. Royal Luxury Pillow Top has no load-bearing limit –it can support any weight.

The density of a foam in a mattress determines the load-bearing capacity. The higher the density, the higher the weight of the individual it can support without resulting in a product defect. For example, a Comfy mattress is made with low-density foam and can support weights up to 50kg. Wellbeing Regina semi-orthopaedic mattress, on the other hand, is made with high-density foam and can support weights up to 120kg.
Please buy Mouka mattresses from authorized dealers only. If you are ever in doubt about the authenticity of the mattress you intend to purchase, kindly call us on our customer service numbers, and we will guide you accordingly.
You need to consider the following:
  • • Your body-build
  • • Your mattress dimensions
  • • Your budget
Dreamtime mattress was specially made with children in mind. It is covered with a water-resistant fabric, which prevents the foam core from getting soaked. Unlike Mackintosh, Dreamtime fabric is breathable, preventing excessive heat and sweating. The designs of the fabrics are very attractive, with butterfly motifs for girls and football motifs.
Orthopaedic mattresses are often recommended for people prone to back aches and the elderly. Orthopaedic mattresses are also a popular choice for hotels and other institutions because of their longevity and high load-bearing capacity. Mouka’s orthopaedic mattresses are also a great choice for those who prefer an extra firm comfort rating.
You should change your pillows if you notice any of the following:
  • • Lumps in the pillows
  • • Permanent stains from body sweat and oil
  • • You wake up with aches and pains, particularly in your neck or shoulders
  • • You wake up tired (due to aches and pains interrupting your sleep)
  • • You wake up sneezing from dust mites
  • • You constantly have to re-fluff your pillow to get comfortable
  • • If you fold your pillow in half and, it stays that way instead of regaining its original shape
On average, unless otherwise indicated, replace your pillows every 1-2 years. Certain types of pillows, however last longer than others due to their composition.
